Wow, it was amazing to win ‘The Herald Look Award Commendation for ‘ Expert Makeup Artist of The Year‘ 2017. It was a glittering evening at The Radisson Blu Hotel,Glasgow in May and was hosted by TV presenter Jennifer Reoch.
I don’t enter competitions on a regular basis, however it was an honour to be recognised by the Industry and was sponsored by Fake Bake, Good Salon Guide, Skinade, Osmo, High Definition and Glasgow College : aiming to spotlight the very best of Scotland’s Hair & Beauty specialists.
The award means so much as I was competing against large salons and schools, the other finalists were really friendly and it was a great opportunity to network.
The bubbly flowed, goody bags with some lovely products were received (can’t recommend the HD brow pencil enough) and a fabulous night was had by one and all!
